CHRISTMAS 2010
When I was expecting Alyse, I decided to go back to school. I started my first semester when Alyse was 9 weeks old in August 2010. Now, in Dec 2010 I have just finished my first semester back to school at UVU. I decided to jump back into what I started years ago and go for the Nursing program at UVU. Its a tough program to get into, so I will have to pull all A's. I'm up for the challenge.
I have to admit that this Christmas wasn't an easy one. This was the time of year that I went through my separation and ultimately my divorce. One year ago I was pregnant and unsure about what was going to happen with my baby and my future. All of those feelings have come rushing back from the familiar scents, songs, decorations and weather. Going through the holidays should be a happy time to be with family and celebrate Christ's birth. It was really difficult to do those things this year. It was easier when I focused on Alyse and being with my family.
This picture cracks me up! This snow suit was too small for her chubby little self and she could barely move. It was pulling her eyes and making them slant down and making her cheeks bulge. All of that discomfort and she is still smiling. She is such a trooper.
Since she couldn't' really move..... being the awesome mom that I am, I put her in the snow. I expected her to fuss, but she just stayed there, content, unable to move.... like I said, she is a trooper. She puts up with my dorkiness all day, every day. Love this little girl.
We loved spending time with the family this Christmas! Needless to say, she got spoiled rotten!
MERRY CHRISTMAS!!
